Lord Sandwich is one of the most popular restaurants/cafes in the Ewha University (or 'Edae') district. Serving up warm grilled sandwiches and fine coffee in a serene atmosphere, it's a favorite lunch date spot among young women and professors. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Seoul.
The curious industrial-looking building houses some of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted.

Lord Sandwich is best known for its ciabatta, a soft and porous Italian white bread with a crispy exterior. It's fragrant and delicious on its own, but even tastier filled with savory, spicy ingredients.
After ordering, the food is brought to you in the dining room upstairs. The curious yet quiet atmosphere is accompanied by classical piano music.
Mushroom Sandwich
Pan fried mushrooms, zucchini, eggplant, rucola, balsamic vinegar, and basil sauce on ciabatta. This mouthwatering sandwich is one of the recommended items on the menu, and my personal favorite. Savory and scrumptious!
BLT Sandwich
The other recommended item consists of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and basil mayo on ciabatta. The fragrant basil mayo and fluffy, toasty ciabatta makes this classic sandwich 10x tastier.
Mustard Chicken Sandwich
Grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo on ciabatta. This is the restaurant's most popular sandwich and my Korean friends' favorite. "Full of warm grilled flavor and just the right amount of zest."

Every sandwich is paired with a teeny salad lightly coated in balsamic vinegar. Simple but delicious.
Directions to Lord Sandwich:
1) Take a bus to the back gate of Ewha University or 2) take the subway to Ewha University Station (Exit #3) and walk across campus to the back gate.
Cross over to the side of the street opposite of the university, and turn right.
Walk straight and then make the first left turn at this Samgyetang (삼계탕) restaurant.
Turn right and continue to walk straight, passing this restaurant.
Walk until you see Princeton Book Cafe, and turn left.
Lord Sandwich will be on your right, directly in front of Yonsei SK Global House.
